Definitely my favorite band of the year thus far has been the smooth jams of Connan Mockasin. Based out of New Zealand, Connan Mockasin dabbles in a playful variety of r&b, disco, and psychodelic rock, paying tribute to an era of smooth jams in a similar way that some our favorite spooky pink bands have done in the past. I can confidently say that the latest album ‘Caramel’ is good from beginning to end, and makes for a great accompaniment to any cheese & wine gathering.
